The fabrication of hazel hurdles is an ancient craft and has been used in Britain and many other countries for centuries. Originally used as moveable fencing to partition land in open field farming systems, hazel hurdles are as effective and attractive as they were all those years ago. Hazel fence hurdles traditionally use hazel of between 10mm and 20mm and therefore give a more textured finish than willow hurdles. Entirely sustainable they are the perfect way to bring a traditional, natural look to your garden.
