This slip resistant strip or insert can be retro fitted to the grooves of certain Q-Deck decking boards or grooves made to exiting decking. It is preservative pre-treated with Tanalith E Extra giving the timber water repellant properties.
Q-Grip Strip is made from high quality certified softwood and is a versatlie slip resistant decking insert. It can be fitted to grooves that are either post applied to existing decks or Q-Deck York Style Decking, Canterbury style decking and Pre-Grip style decking. When used in conjunction with any of these boards it allows deck builders to strategically incorporate slip resistant areas within a deck scheme with ease. Suitable adhesive to fit the strip are Sikaflex EBT by Sika Adhesives or TheWorx by Geocel. It is preservative pre-treated with Tanalith E Extra giving the timber water repellant properties.
